We are inspired and honored to innovate with our customers and unlock the possible in stroke care.

A rich history driven by innovation.

In 2002, Kaneka Corporation (KC) commercialized the first ever neurovascular embolization coil in Japan, the ED Coil. Twenty years later, they have expanded their global footprint into more than 20 countries, including the United States in 2021.

Kaneka’s U.S. Neurovascular division is a subsidiary of Kaneka Corporation. We are bicoastal, with corporate headquarters in New York City and a research and development team in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. In partnership with Kaneka Japan, we design, develop and manufacture medical devices designed to treat stroke.
